Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between HASA and MedAds Media to Boost Health Education

Puncak Alam, November 9, 2023 — In a significant move toward enhancing health education and awareness, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah (HASA) and MedAds Media have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on November 9, 2023. The MOU signing ceremony took place at Bilik Persidangan 2, Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM Puncak Alam.

The collaboration between HASA and MedAds Media revolves around the deployment of MedsHD, a digital screen network within health facilities. This collaboration marks a milestone for MedAds Media, as HASA becomes the first hospital to receive MedsHD coverage. Having successfully installed 53 screens in private clinics, MedAds Media sees this collaboration as a significant addition to HASA’s health education and promotion initiatives, with 10 screens being installed in the hospital.

“HASA always remains open to strategic collaborations and partnerships to enhance the patient experience, especially in waiting areas, and MedsHD is an idea that sets HASA apart from other hospitals in Malaysia,” stated Prof. Dr. Sazzli Kassim, Hospital Director.

The MedsHD digital screen network is poised to play a crucial role in delivering health information and promoting awareness within the hospital premises. This innovative approach aims to engage and educate patients during their waiting periods, contributing to an overall improved healthcare experience.

Looking forward, MedAds Media has set ambitious goals for expanding the reach of MedsHD. As of 2023, the company is actively working to onboard more private hospitals to deploy MedsHD, with a target of reaching 1.4 million viewers.
